The Optical Communications Systems & Networks (OCSN) Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras is pleased to announce its official membership in the Innovative Optical and Wireless Network Global Forum (IOWN GF) as an Academic Member.
The IOWN Global Forum is a world-leading initiative committed to driving the development of next-generation communication infrastructure based on cutting-edge optical and wireless technologies. It brings together industry pioneers, academic researchers, and technology leaders with the shared goal of creating a smarter, more sustainable, and connected future.
Our academic membership is active from May 28, 2025 to May 27, 2026, and will enable the OCSN Lab to participate in collaborative efforts shaping the future of networking, computing, and integrated systems. Through access to the IOWN GF’s Member Platform, steering committees, and working groups, our lab will engage in knowledge exchange and innovation alongside major global players.
