Konstantinos Moschopoulos received his integrated B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from University of Patras in 2021. Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Patras and his research interests are in the field of optical communications systems with emphasis on novel transceiver design.

The Optical Communications Systems & Networks (OCSN) Lab at the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department of University of Patras conducts advanced research related with most aspects of modern optical communications systems and networks, that support various networks segments ranging from short reach applications (e.g. Fiber to the Home, Intra-Datacenter interconnects, 5G/6G Fronthaul) going all the way to backbone ultra-high capacity long-reach networks that make today’s Internet and its applications a reality.
