Dimitris Uzunidis received his B.Sc. degree in Telecommunications and Ph.D. degree in Optical Networking from the University of Peloponnese in 2009 and 2016, respectively. He is currently working as a senior researcher in the field of 6G networks and applications of machine learning. He also works as an adjunct lecturer at the University of West Attica and ASPETE. He has participated in more than 10 European projects, and he has more than 60 published works in international conferences and journals. His research interests include performance evaluation of 6G networks, numerical simulation and network optimization, applications of deep learning, and derivation of 6G system requirements.
