Optical Communications Systems & Networks (OCSN) Lab/Group
The OCSN Lab at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Patras conducts advanced research related with most aspects of modern optical communications systems and networks, that support various networks segments ranging from short reach applications (e.g. Fiber to the Home, Intra-Datacenter interconnects, 5G/6G Fronthaul) going all the way to backbone ultra-high capacity long-reach networks that make today’s Internet and its applications a reality.
